Nesting parameter to set the minimum length of contour to treat as a bridge
When the rout type is set to stay down, the routing contour includes links from one part to another. The links are cut as bridges if they are at least the ‘minimum bridge length’.
Bridges are not cut at full depth but have a thin layer remaining, to hold areas of waste material together. Bridges are like tabs but are usually much longer.
Notes
- Can also be set as a material parameter at both board and material level
- Links between parts that are shorter than the minimum length are cut at full depth
- If there are very short routs at the start and end of a bridge, they are cut at full depth
