Saw parameter to configure the saw transfer process to divide flexTec runs into a run containing automatic patterns only and a run containing manual patterns only
This parameter is only available for saw model 26 HOMAG flexTec CADmatic 5 when manual processing is allowed. It appears on the Cutting 3 tab.
The divide for flexTec works in a similar manner to the standard divide process for saw limits (see the Max saw limits on the Cutting 2 page of the saw parameters). The divide process works through the original patterns in sequence. When a pattern is processed differently from the preceding pattern a new run is created so if the original run has all manual patterns sorted to the end the divide process will produce two runs.
The divided name is the same as the run name with “_flexTec” appended if the patterns are processed automatically.
e.g.
Run: 01234
Pattern 1, Automatic
Pattern 2, Automatic
Pattern 3, Automatic
Pattern 4, Manual
Transferred to…..
Divided run: 01234_flexTec
Pattern 1, Automatic
Pattern 2, Automatic
Pattern 3, Automatic
Divided run: 01234
Pattern 4, Manual
If the manual and/or automatic patterns are not grouped together the divide process will generate more than two transfer files. In this case a number is appended to the end of the original run name to ensure the divided transfer files have unique names.
e.g.
Run: 01234
Pattern 1, Material A, Automatic
Pattern 2, Material A, Manual
Pattern 3, Material B, Automatic
Pattern 4, Material B, Manual
Transferred to…..
Divided run: 01234_1_flexTec
Pattern 1, Material A, Automatic
Divided run: 01234_2
Pattern 2, Material A, Manual
Divided run: 01234_3_flexTec
Pattern 3, Material B, Automatic
Divided run: 01234_4
Pattern 4, Material B, Manual
