Board extra information
Board library / board list field for extra details about a board size
Use this column to enter any extra information about each board.
This field can be included on reports / labels etc.
woodStore stock control system
When importing boards from woodStore (or when using woodStore as the board database), the board extra information field is used to store the woodStore setting for 'Material Family'. This text field is used by the storage system to classify materials.
Extra information is also passed to offcuts created from the board.
On transfer to CADmatic saws, the extra information field is output to the .saw file for boards and offcuts in the 'Material Family' field.
When using woodStore as the board database, Material Family is available to view as a new column in 'Review woodStore database' (Stock menu on the main screen).
