How to temporarily re-activate a cloud licence
The ReactivateCloudLicence utility program can temporarily re-activate a cloud licence for 30 days should the licencing server become unavailable. This is possible even for floating licences which have been logged out.
If the licencing server becomes unavailable, the program reports warnings for up to 10 days during normal operation (the 'grace period'):
An error occurred when connecting to the licencing server [33476]
Eventually the program reports that the licence is no longer valid and may request an activation code.
Cancel from the error dialog and close any V12 programs which are running.
Before proceeding with re-activation, verify that the licencing server is unavailable by running the CloudSeats.exe utility in the program folder. The 'Test connection' button should produce the error message above.
Re-activation process
To temporarily re-activate your cloud licence, run the ReactivateCloudLicence.exe utility in the program folder and follow the instructions on screen. The program verifies that the PC has a working internet connection and a cloud licence which can be re-activated. It also verifies that the licencing server is not available. Example output from the program is shown below (language is in English).

This program will temporarily re-activate your cloud licence
in the event that the licencing server is not available.
Please check that the PC clock is correct.
Press Y to continue or any other key to exit.
If the licence is already in an extended/re-activated state a warning is also shown. This may be ignored if the licence is being re-activated a second time, for example in the unlikely event that the licencing server is still unavailable within the 30 day period.
Selecting Y begins the activation attempt. If successful, the program reports:
Licence has been successfully re-activated.
Press a key to exit
The program should now open. If the licence is still reported to be invalid, this may be because there have been hardware / software changes made to your PC after the licence was issued. Please contact your distributor for an activation code.
If re-activation is not successful, an error message is reported.

Resuming normal operation
When running with a licence which has been extended by the utility, the program periodically checks whether the licencing server is available again. If the seat has not been allocated to a different user, the licence is refreshed automatically. Otherwise, the log in dialog is displayed.
