Minimum width for clamp alignment

Saw parameters to define the minimum width for clamp alignment using automatic processing

This parameter is only available for saw model 26 HOMAG flexTec CADmatic 5  and appears on the Cutting 3 tab.

This group of parameters is used to define the 'width' of the piece of material that can be held by the robotic arm when moving the piece to be cut underneath the pressure beam to the clamps. For thicker materials there is less clearance between the piece and the pressure beam so the width of the piece to be cut must be greater in order to be held by the robotic arm.

By default, when the material thickness is 25mm or less the piece must be at least 120mm wide.

For materials thicker than 25mm the width of the piece must be at least 805mm wide.

In this group of parameters users can set the threshold material thickness and the two minimum widths.
