Protected - checkbox to ensure part list is not deleted / overwritten
Protected part lists are not deleted by auto archiving and attempts to delete or replace them must be confirmed by the user.
To protect a part list, select the 'Protected' checkbox. The default is unchecked.
Protected part lists are indicated by File management on the Part lists section by a padlock in the group column.
Notes:
1. Cutting lists created from protected part lists are not protected. The protected checkbox is shown disabled and unchecked for cutting lists.
2. Renaming, copying or 'Save as' preserves the protected status
3. Protected part lists can still be deleted or overwritten by the Operating system (e.g Explorer)
