How stoppages are recorded for analyse shifts or runs
Where a stoppage occurs for the Saw this is called 'Waiting time' and for some saw controllers can be analysed by customised categories.
The text for the categories is set up at the CADmatic controller (see Supplier for details)
For example:-
1 Stand still
2 Unexpected interruption
3 Waiting for material
4 Waiting for destacking area to be cleared
5 Repair (mechanical breakdown)
6 Saw blade inspection / change
Where a stoppage occurs within a cycle this time is excluded from the reported cycle time.
