Analysis code for a customer
The CUSTOMER DATABASE has several fields for analysis codes - these can be customised
Choose the Extra customer information button to see the codes for a customer at the ORDER ENTRY screen or choose the Customer database button to move to the customer database screen for that user.
One example of the use of these codes is Sales tax. The database does not have a specific field for sales tax because in many countries the same rate applies to all customers but in the USA, for example, the sales tax is based on the customer location and you need to use an analysis code for the sales tax rate.

- Once a code is assigned for a specific purpose make sure that it is used consistently across all customers
