Review runs option to optimise partially complete runs
Use this option to optimise a run or batch of runs that is already partly completed. This can be useful where there are delays or late changes in production.
For example, a run may be partly cut but there are additional requirements. In this case it can be useful to retain the cut patterns; adjust the part list quantities and optimise the remaining parts to be cut. At the main screen:-
Setup - If the part list is edited after optimisation with a view to optimising only the remaining parts it is important to first set the System parameter: Delete patterns when editing part list. Uncheck this value otherwise the existing patterns are automatically deleted if the part list is changed.
● Select: Review - Optimise remaining parts
The current batch is displayed.
- Typically the whole batch (set of runs) is optimised - but the batch can be changed if required. Use the options on the Batch screen to locate and load a different batch or remove and load different runs to the batch.

The program proceeds to optimise the runs in the batch. Any existing patterns and quantities are retained. The program moves to the 'Review runs' screen.
Notes
- 'Optimise remaining parts' is also available at the Review runs screen when looking at an existing batch (or a run within that batch). This is a convenient way of operating if the only changes are those in pattern amendment.
- This option is available with the PO module and with the NE module
