Import several lists in one operation
These formats allow for multiple lists, for example, multiple parts lists to be imported.
To do this create a batch file (BTX) containing the part list names as well as creating the part list files to import. The batch file can be created with a text editor and is an ASCII/Unicode file.
Setup the system to recognise the format of the part list files in the same way as importing individual part lists (see topics below).
The format of the batch file is fixed. Filename: xxxxxxxx.BTX
For each run:-
part list name
run number
optimising parameter list name
saw parameter list name
JOB1,00025,STANDARD,SINGLE
JOB2,00026,STANDARD,ANGLE
JOB3,00027,,SINGLE
JOB4
The list can be up to 99 items. Add a Return at the end of the file to make sure that all the data lines are imported correctly.
If a run number is not included the software assigns a run number automatically. If a parameter list names are not included these can be entered in the software before you begin optimising. The simplest form of the file is just a list of part list names.
JOB1
JOB2
JOB3
JOB4
The board list name is set equal to the part list name and you cannot add a batch title.
Place the batch file and any other files in the directory set by the System parameter: Path for import data
Set the Import parameters (at the main screen: File - Import parts : File - Parameters) for batch import
Select File - Import parts at the main screen
