Length and width for each board size
The board sizes are the length and width of the board. The length is normally the longest edge of the board and the width is usually the shortest edge but this can depend on the material and methods of production.
The program takes the board length to be the dimension in the 'Length' column and the board width to be the dimension in the 'Width' column regardless of the actual sizes.
Choose the measurement mode and the order in which Length and Width are shown by setting the System parameters.
When parts are produced from a grained board the setting for each part determines how the grain runs along the part. For the board the program assumes that the grain runs along the dimension specified by the 'Length' column.
