Saw parameter to set the total trim for a third phase cut
Set a maximum total trim for the recut. This value should include BOTH values set for the saw parameter: Minimum trim dimension for recut - front / rear
The program compares this setting with the sum of the minimum front and rear trims for recuts and always uses the larger of the values.
Use this maximum total value to control the production of recuts. For example, a large value tends to encourage recuts as this allows a recut of many different part sizes. A small value is useful where the part is trimmed on a later process such as an Edgebander and recuts must not be too large.
(The optimisers also take into account the extra cutting time of a recut so recuts are only chosen if there are no other economic alternatives).
