Minimum block length after head cut - main / head

Saw parameter to limit the overall length of board sections

A head cut splits the board into two portions; the main portion (at the left above) and head portion (at the right).

Set the minimum length of each portion using the corresponding main or head parameter.

For some saws the length of a portion has to be above a minimum value because short lengths, for example, less than 1000mm (39in) may be difficult to clamp correctly

If no restrictions apply enter values of 0 for both the main and the head.

If there is more than one head cut the value applies to the main portion after all the head cuts are taken.

Notes

- Can also be set as a Material parameter at both board and material level.
