Co-ordinate transfer of data from several users to the saw
Data for transfer to most saw controllers is stored in a directory on the computer in the Path (set in Saw transfer parameters). On choosing Transfer to saw the contents of this directory are sent to the saw and the directory contents are then automatically deleted.
This is Ok for a single user but where there are several users on a Network who send data to the saw directory a Supervisor may want to review the data in the saw directory before it is dispatched to the saw.
To work in this way select set the Saw transfer parameter: Buffered transfer
This provides extra transfer option on the Machine interface menu at the main screen.
The saw buffer can then be managed using the Buffered transfer options; these are automatically added to the menu for Saw transfer at the main screen for any Saw transfer links that have Buffered transfer set.
