Saw parameter to set the maximum height for a pack of boards loaded on the lift
A bundle is the unit in which boards are loaded on to the lift. When there are no more boards on the lift there may be a waiting time whilst a new bundle of boards is loaded.
The number of boards in a full bundle is calculated by:-
Max height of bundle / board thickness (for each material)
From this data the program calculates the number of bundles for each run and uses this to estimate the overall loading time.
Notes
- For thin material there may also be a limit on the number of boards that can be stacked together (regardless of the maximum bundle height) and this is given by the Saw parameter: Max boards per bundle. The program uses the lower of these two figures as the working maximum for the number of boards in a bundle.
- This value can also be set as a material parameter
