Saw parameter to allow more time for a cut
Extra time overhead for each cut to allow for:-
- the vertical movements of the pressure beam
- the vertical movements of the saw
The vertical movement is the movement at right angles to the plane of the saw bed, for example, as the pressure beam moves down on to the book, and the saw moves up and down at the start and end of the cut.
This time is used to calculate the time for each cut so it is important that you enter an accurate time.
