Copy files

 

Making a duplicate of a file (or files)

 

At the File Management screen:-

 

- Select the type of file in the left pane

 

Select a file or files to copy (drag the mouse to select a range of files). [ Ctrl ] with the mouse to  select more than one file

 

For the keyboard use the cursor keys to select files (hold down [ Shift ] to select a range of files)

 

 Select: File - Copy

or

Select the Toolbar option

 

Program prompts to select a file name and/or directory to copy the files to. If one file is selected the program prompts for a file name. If more than one file is selected the files can only be copied to another location (with the same file names).

 

 

- Enter a path to save the files to.

 

Use the list box to select a path

 

 Select OK to finish

Cancel - abandon copies

 

Notes

 

- For Run files (optimisations) two options are available. 'Copy' which is a direct copy of all the files associated with a run and 'Archive' which copies all the runs files to a single file (extension .PTA)

 

- Copy is also available from a pop-up menu (right click with mouse)
