Saw parameter to set time taken to turn a book / board
Time required if a board has to be turned before cutting. It is used both for some Single and some Angular Saws but in each case the definition of the time is different.
For a single rear loading saw enter the time to turn a book for a short rip pattern. This time should include the additional time to feed the board through to the front, turn manually and drawback the book ready for the first rip trim.
For an angular saw with turntable at the rip saw enter the time to turn the book prior to a head cut.
