How drawings are used
At the product and part library screens each product or part can have an associated drawing. This is either an external drawing from a graphics file or a drawing in the drawing library.
To link a drawing to the item in the library:-
● Enter the drawing code in the box in the product or part library screen.
There are options in the part and product library to print the drawings as a preview and with the full details for each part or product.
In the product library if there is no entry in the field for drawing name the program assumes that the drawing name is equal to the product code. Double click on a drawing in the product or part library to access the drawing library.
Product views - a product can have up to 3 drawings associated with it - showing the perspective, plan and elevation views.
