Database to store 'destacking styles' which describe how parts are destacked
Destacking only
The Destacking library stores a list of destack styles to use. There is one record for each style. At the main screen:-
● Select: Libraries - Destacking library
The screen shows the Destacking library
The style contains information about how the Baseboard, Pallets or Runners are used and how the parts are laid out on, for example, the pallet. The style can vary from a 1x1 layout of parts on a fixed sized pallet to a stack of parts laid out 3x2 with a bottom baseboard two top baseboards all set on pallet for support. The Information in the library is:-

Stacks
Per station
This information allows the arrangement of baseboards and part stacks to be specified. Typically there is 1 baseboard and 1 part stack per station, but it in some situations it is useful to load 2 different baseboards on a station and for there to be different part stacks on each station. Here is a simple example:-
In the example above parts are de-stacked in a 3 x 2 arrangement on to a single baseboard.
Each style has a name in the library (e.g. STYLE1). For optimisation parts have to be linked to styles in the part list (or Part library). To do this extra Part list information boxes (User Defined) are set up to hold the Destacking style names for each part (Information Box Parameters). Once the information boxes are set up the Destacking parameter:Destacking options - bottom, top, support is set to specify the boxes used for Destacking style information.
For most situations, especially where there are just parts and baseboards the Destacking library is the simplest method for describing destacking styles.
For some more complex destacking arrangements the destacking information can be entered directly in the Part list or Part library using the predefined Destacking information boxes. Where the Destacking library and Destacking information boxes are used together the Information boxes override values from the Destacking library.
