Direction of part stacks
Part stacks can be placed on a baseboard, pallet or runners in one of two orientations. Use this parameter to control this. The options are:-
W - piece width to pallet length (widthwise)
L - piece length to pallet length (lengthwise)
blank - either (orientation does not matter)
Allow program to choose best orientation - enter space or blank if the orientation of the part on the pallet does not matter
Destacking picture - the orientation of the pieces on the pallet is called the 'Destacking picture'.
In first diagram destacking picture is 3 x 2 (3 in the length and 2 in the width)
In second diagram destacking picture is 5 x 1 (5 in the length and 1 in the width.).
This value is set at the destacking library (use the combo box to select the value) or in the Information boxes in the part list.
