May occur with Stock control
A change to the board library cannot be made because the library is linked to an external database and the external database is not available. This message may also occur on first access to the board library or stock control options since both these operations check the link to the external database.
The error message may include some extra information from the database, for example, 'SQL server does not exist or access denied'.
Perhaps the server is down or the link is not set up correctly or there is a security/permissions problem.
