Attention.gifToo many parts for crosscut trim override

May occur with pattern amendment

This is one of several checks on edited patterns on exit from pattern amendment. It refers to the Optimising parameters for 'Trims'.

Error_override_trims.png

Where Optimising parameters 'Override rip and crosscut trims' are set these may not be obeyed by manual changes. If these settings cannot apply the fixed 'Minimum trims' are checked. If the manual changes also do not obey the fixed trim limits this error is reported for the crosscut trims.

For example, if the board length is 2440mm, the fixed crosscut trims 10mm, the minimum crosscut trim is 5mm and the maximum parts per strip is 3, a strip containing 3 parts can have a maximum length of 2430mm. A strip containing four parts must have the fixed crosscut trims applied to the maximum length of the strip is 2420mm. If the 4 part strip is longer than 2420mm the warning is displayed.

- Check the changed patterns and the parameter values.

- Select 'Continue' to exit the pattern (any changes are saved). Select 'Cancel' to make further changes.
