Action not successful - too much data

Indicates a limit in the software has been exceeded

There are several limits in the software and one of these has been exceeded, for example, too many parts in a part list, patterns too complex etc.

Check the limits for the item that is causing the problem and adjust the data accordingly.

Problems

- Merge of part list creates a list that exceeds max parts limit

- Optimisation creates patterns that are too complex

- Too many patterns in a run

- Import creates part list that exceeds max parts limit

- Import creates requirements list that exceeds max parts list

- Attempt to optimise part list / product requirements exceeding max parts for optimising

- Transfer to saw exceeds limits on part or boards allowed for transfer

- Transfer to saw where 'second cut' patterns do not fit into the run

- Too many characters in calculated instruction (e.g. string created via a tool conversion rule)

The problem can also occur with Optimise or recalcuating when information for a Tool setting in a machine drawing is greater than the allowed number of characters. This typically occurs when the tool setting is determined by a variable or lookup.

Import parts

The problem can occur on import but only if the import format (Import parameters) is:-

User defined format - ASCII CSV (PNX)

Batch - user defined order (BTX)

There is a limit of 5000 characters for any import line

Tool replacement

There is a limit of 800 materials for the tool replacement details. If more than 800 materials are selected over all the grid lines then this error will be displayed when leaving the page and some materials will need to be deleted first.
