Action not successful - unlock

The User Profile could not be unlocked

A Profile is usually locked for the following reasons:-

- Profile in use by another user

- Program did not close down correctly when the Profile was in use

- The Network may be down and the path for the Profile cannot be accessed.

Selecting the Profile and the Unlock option should unlock the Profile but check with other users before attempting this.

Other (rare) causes are:-

- Very occasionally it may happen the file marking the Profile has become corrupted. This is the file $idVxx.ctl, e.g. $idV90.ctl. This is located in the relevant User profile path. Delete this file using Windows and re-enter the details using the NEW directory option.

- The program may not have permission (from the system) to open the User profile path - check with the system administrator.
