Data not correct - formula too large

A formula in a part, product or machining instruction is too long

There is a maximum number of characters for a single formula.

When entering a formula in a part, product or machining instruction there is a limit on the number of characters and you are prevented from exceeding this. However there are some operations on parts, products or machining instructions that automatically alter the formula and this can cause the formula to exceed the allowed length. For example, the 'Edit - Mirror' instruction in the machining library can alter some formula slightly as the instruction is changed to deal with the mirror operation. Another example is to move an instruction containing long formula because the move operation changes the values of some of the items in the formula.

Reduce the size of the original formula and re-try the operation.

The following example illustrates how instructions are altered. The following Xstart instruction for an arc is changed when it is mirrored and increases in length by 4 characters.

Xstart: =500-10

Xstart: =X-(500-10)
