Organise and maintain files created by the program
At the main screen:-
● Select: File - File Management
or
Select the Toolbar option (File toolbar)
The File management screen is displayed.
The screen shows files in a particular category, such as, part lists, run files (optimised results), libraries etc.
Click on an item in the file tree in the left pane to move to a file category, e.g. 'Board lists'
Some examples of categories are:-
Runs - run files (optimised results) (PTN, CUT)
Archived runs - archived run file (PTA)
Parts - part data (PRL)
Boards - working board list (BRD)
Optimising parameters - optimising parameter files (PRM)
Batches - files for each batch (BTC)
Libraries - board, part, and product libraries (LB3, MDB)
Select file(s) with the mouse and use the buttons at the top of the screen to copy, delete files etc.
Notes
- All Files - shows ALL file types
- Optimisations - refers to all files associated with an optimised part list. For these any runs that are already transferred are marked with a tick.
- Where possible the contents of the currently selected file are shown in the 'File view' pane at the foot of the screen
- Back-up - this option is available on the Toolbar and on the File menu. The option is also found on the main screen on the File menu.
- A group column has been added to the list of column headings in the main area of file management.
A tick will appear in this column for any files that have been included in 1 (or more) selection dialog groups/favourites.
