Saw parameter to set waste flap sizes
Use this to specify the size of the waste flap for a single saw
A Waste flap size of '0.0' means 'no waste flap at this saw'.
This is the maximum size for a waste dimension so that the waste piece falls safely into the waste trap. Waste pieces are cut to this size (or less for the remaining waste piece). This applies to both rip and crosscut operations.
See the saw parameters: Width of packing strips and Minimum length of packing strips to determine how the saw divides the waste. The waste can either be cut into waste strips that fall into the waste trap (as described above) or alternatively the waste can be cut into suitable sizes for use in packing - these latter are often called 'packing strips'.
