Saw parameter to set whether information on cutting head portions of a board is required
If the head portions of a board are transferred to another saw for further division then the time for cutting the head portion is not necessarily relevant to this run and the offcuts may not be relevant as these may be different when cut in a different operation.
Use this parameter to exclude from the results of the current optimisation the time, cutting dimensions, and offcuts, for dividing the head.

Preserve offcuts - the saw parameter preserve offcuts which was included in earlier versions is no longer used because the size and distribution of offcuts is now covered by other parameters. This parameter was also used to determine the cutting dimensions for single saw types 1,2,3,5, and 9 where there was a choice between staggered and checkerboard cutting. Set the system parameter: Create data for to include offcuts if you want to force staggered cutting for these single saws in these situations.
