Width of Intermediate table

Saw parameter to set saw characteristics

Some compact angular saws have a smaller intermediate table so that they fit into a more compact work space. Enter a value for the width of the intermediate table in millimetres or inches.

Set a value of 0 if your saw is not a compact angular saw.

The restricted width of the table can affect the cutting time for some patterns because:-

(a) The intermediate table may not accommodate all strips for a set so there may be a pause in ripping a set of strips while the saw waits for the table to be cleared of previous strips

(b) The table is only cleared when crosscutting is complete. On a saw with a larger table the completion of the crosstransfer (XT) allows the intermediate table to be cleared. The cutting time diagrams are as follows:-
