Edging library - type of edging
Use this for solid edging (usually wood), for example, edges on doors for extra strength or solid wood lipping on desks to enhance the appearance.
The solid edge requirements for a run are calculated when the run is optimised at this point the program creates a PICKING LIST of solid edge sizes. The picking list is just an ordinary part list containing the solid edge requirements for a run.
The picking list name consists of P plus the run number. For example, P00027. You can use the Part list to view and print the picking list, see Optimise parts. The letter P is fixed and cannot be changed.
The program uses the following rules when creating a picking list.
Title - part list title
Part code - edging code
Part length - calculated length
Part width - 0
Quantity - calculated quantity
Overs and unders (header line) - 0%
Quick edging (header line) - 0000
Picking list sorted by material. Common lengths and widths aggregated
Note - the run name must be less than 8 characters
