Information box parameter to pass product data to individual parts in a part list / cutting list
The data passed to the part list / cutting list is from the 'Information' field at the Product requirements list (or Quotes / Orders list).
If this Information box parameter is set the data in the field is passed through to the part list / cutting list and is available after optimisation for reports and labels on per part basis.
Use this field to keep a link between each product requirement and the individual parts.
Notes
- To set up information boxes: Main screen - Parameters - Information boxes
- If the Product information field is edited at Product requirements or Quotes / Orders any changes are passed through to the part list - but the data in the Product library is NOT updated. At the product requirements screen there may be several versions of a single product (for custom products) so data cannot be sent back to the product library.
