Pattern for master part - information box

Extra fields for part data

Contain the run number and pattern number of the pattern that divides the master part in grain matching

Run number/Pattern number

The run number is zero filled (8 digits) and the pattern number is zero filled (4 digits)

e.g. 00016745/P0012

Note - separator is '/P'.

This allows for the location of the cutting pattern for a part.

For example, if this information is printed on the part label as a bar code it can be scanned to take the operator directly to the correct cutting pattern.

Format for pattern filename - If the pattern filename is numerical and less than five characters it is padded on the left with zeros to make this portion of the field five characters long. If the pattern filename is alphanumeric or numerical with five of more characters it is left unchanged. If the pattern number is less than three digits it is padded on the left with zeros to make this portion of the field three characters long. If the pattern number is three or more digits it is left unchanged.
