Set up vaccuum pods for a machining centre
● Select: Function - Vacuum pods
Move the cross hair cursor to the required location
First click - position of pod 1
Second click - position of pod 2
Third click - position of pod 3
● Adjust the values with the Machining instructions pane at the lef
The order for the bars is from right to left and the pods on each bar have to be in the order from the top to the bottom.
Tool - use this box to enter the tool number and other information. Click on the [+] button to enter options via a dialog (this is only available for some types of machining centre).
Notes
- Vacuum pods have to be added in the correct order for the Homag software to accept it
- For WoodWop 4.0+ vacuum pods are defined using the centre of the pod instead of the top of pod. This is a different rule to that used in WoodWop 2.5 and to the Optimising program.
