Autolink/Busellato tool options

Specific machining centres

This link uses the Autolink software to connect to a Busellato machining centre.

Note the following extra points:-

When transferring to a plain DXF file or an Autolink format DXF file (modes 0 and 1) the program always converts the origin of the DXF file to BOTTOM LEFT, as this is the common standard for DXF files.

Tool number

T=03

Enter the tool number. This can be any set of numbers to suit your machining centre.

Depth in horizontal plane (Z)

Z=10

Enter the depth for a horizontal operation (eg: a horizontal bore).

You should enter all Z distances in the part drawing measured from the top of the part.

If no depth is given it is assumed to be thickness/2.

Exclude instructions

T=X

Use this to exclude an instruction from the machining centre. Some users find it useful to filter out certain machine instructions during the transfer of information to the machining centre. For example you may want the drawing to show all the instructions but some of the operations are not carried out on the machining centre.

Enter this for each instruction that you want to exclude. This can apply to an individual instruction or a group.

Note that there is also an instruction T=CAD to send instructions only to the CADmatic Saw. This implies T=X and you do not need to specify both instructions.

If T=X applies to all the instructions for a part then no machine instruction file is produced for that part.
