Machine centre parameters - Tool settings
This mode defines the end points of the entered groove. That is whether the co-ordinates relate to the centre of the blade or the first cutting position. You enter the following options:-
0 - Start and End co-ordinates are measured from the centre of the blade (EM=0)
1 - Start and End position are identical to edge of the groove. (EM=1)
2 - This mode is used for cutting all the way through, that is, the groove is along the full length of the board. The safety clearance is added to the saw path, this is used as lead in and lead out space. (EM=2)
For Woodwop 4+ the program writes out the Start mode parameter (Groove Saw) in full. For example a toolbox entry of EM=1 is written to file as EM=MOD1. This is because the new format does not accept the old format (as in Woodwop 2.5
