Tangential
The processing start/end point selected is adjusted by a value. Approach and withdrawal take place in a straight line, whereby the direction of the track corresponds to the angle of the first and/or last contour element. The track extension value is calculated automatically, based on the collision radius of the tool.

Lateral
Approach and withdrawal take place in a quarter circle laterally from the workpiece.
The size of the radius depends on the collision radius of the tool and is determined automatically.

Vertical
The tool lifts/lowers precisely at the defined start or end point of processing in the Z direction.

No checks
The approach and withdrawal paths must be defined as a contour. The approach and withdrawal mode is executed "vertically." No tool ID number check is performed in this mode.
