Final pass - Tool settings nested patterns

Machining centre parameter for tooling instructions for the only or Final pass

Use for tool settings for the dividing cuts for nested patterns

Enter the tool number, speeds, and other rout tool box options.

Use the command format, with each option separated by a colon character, for example:-

T=2:A=2:F=4

The patterns are created using a centre line (RK=0) so they are cut with the setting RK=0. If you enter any other RK instruction this is ignored.

If no values are set for the approach and withdrawal (A= : W=) the default values A=2 and W=2 are used.

The Tool settings can also be entered at the Tool dialog

This value can be overridden by Material parameter settings.

Variables can also be used in the tool settings. The variable answers will come from the variable dialog in quote/orders or product requirements.

Notes

- Can also be set as a Material parameter at material level.

- If two passes are used for routing this box is used for the Tooling for the Final pass.

- Check with the supplier for details of tooling instructions for specific settings such as the 'on the fly' parameter
