Routing / Nesting system parameter to enter the variable names used for dimensions
At the Machining library the part drawings (machining instructions) can be in a choice of formats:- Machining Library, Drawing library, MPR(X) file, BMP format, WMF format etc. Some users have a mixture of formats and these can include MPR(X) format files where pictures were created with the WoodWop program.
In an MPR(X) file the part dimensions (length, width, thickness) can be set by variables with any name, such as L, B and D but in the Optimising program the names are fixed as X, Y and Z.
Set this parameter to specify the variable name used (for each dimension) in the MPR(X) files.
- Enter names in the parameter boxes
The order of the boxes is: Length, Width, Thickness
For example:-
L
B
D
or
LNGH
WDTH
DPTH
Notes
- The names to enter are the names used in the MPR(X) files
- Maximum length of a variable name is 12 characters
- MPR(X) variable names can be specified in lower, upper or mixed case. e.g. 'Safety', 'SAFETY' and 'safety' are separate variables.
