Information box parameter to pass product data to individual parts in a part list / cutting list
The data passed to the part list / cutting list is from the 'Quantity' field at the Product requirements list.
If this Information box parameter is set the data in the field is passed through to the cutting list and is available after optimisation for reports and labels on a per part basis.
This box holds the product quantity for a product from the Quotes/Orders screen or the Product requirements screen.
This box associates with each part the quantity of the product produced. For parts contained in a subassembly the quantity held is still the full product quantity and not the subassembly quantity.
For example, if Part A is used in subassembly S1 and subassembly S1 is used twice in product PR1 for which the requirement quantity is 15, the number that appears in this information box against part A is '15' not '2' or '30'.
Where a subassembly is a separate item in the requirements list the subassembly is treated as a full product.
Use this field to keep a link between each product and the individual parts.
