Notes
- The line colours are as follows:-
Layer 0 and 1 - white
Layer Room - blue
Layer Product - red
Layer Other - green
- When products are exported from plan/elevation view drawings, only a rectangular area is drawn around the product
- Layers 0 and 1 are also created but these are not used in this context
2D layered DXF
The DXF file created will contain 3 main layers as follows:-
ROOM - This will contain any walls, doors and windows. (layer colour - Blue)
PRODUCT - This will contain the outline of any products in the drawing (layer colour - Red)
OTHER - This will contain any other drawing instructions (e.g. circles, arcs) (layer colour - Green)
Note - This feature is intended as a 1 way operation in that the drawing is exported out and used externally. If the drawing is re-imported via the merge DXF operation, then information that was in the original drawing will be lost. e.g. Walls will be imported as set of lines.
The DXF file will be comprised of a set of lines, circles and arcs. The following information will not be exported:
Text and dimension fields
Fills
Line colours and line weights
Ellipses
