Tie together a drawing with the print layout
When a CAD Drawing is placed on a Print layout the CAD Drawing is simply linked to the print layout.
Change the position of the drawing by changing the Link properties.
Select the drawing and then Right click and select properties.
Link the same CAD Drawing to more than one print layout or add the same Drawing at different sizes to the same layout.
If the font size for a CAD Drawing link is set then all fonts in the link are drawn at that size but if it is not set the text is drawn as it was in the original CAD Drawing. This is similar to line colour for a Link, if set all lines take that colour otherwise lines are coloured as in the original.
When a new print layout is created from a CAD Drawing the CAD drawing link is initially scaled to fit 80% of the page, the user can then position this with the mouse. The scale or font size can be changed in the CAD Drawing link properties dialog.
Select a link and Right click to view the Properties page. Select the link by clicking near to the edge of the bounding rectangle.
