Set the allowed overhang for a part stack or oversize for the baseboard
The value entered depends upon the type of destacking material.
Fixed size pallet or baseboard (destacking type 0 or 4)
Where stacks can overhang a fixed size pallet or baseboard enter the allowed overhang per side as a percentage of the part dimension.
e.g.
Part width = 200mm
Overhang = 10%
The stack of parts can overhang each length edge of the pallet by 20mm
Variable size pallet or baseboard (destacking type 1 or 3)
Enter a fixed additional measurement.
This is added to the calculated pallet/baseboard size and ensures that the pallets/baseboards are larger than the part layout.
Notes
- Calculations assume stacks are placed against each other on the station so that there is no gap between them
- For the percentage value the value is taken as a percentage of the part dimensions lying along the width of the pallet/baseboard
- This value is set at the destacking library or in the Information boxes in the part list.
