Set a colour, pattern or picture for a drawing item
For any drawing with an enclosed area, for example, a circle, rectangle, polygon ... The area can be shaded or coloured with the Fill property.
Select
the list button to show the Fill dialog
The current fill (colour, pattern or picture) is shown
● Select a radio button to set the type of colour, pattern or picture
None - No fill
Colour - Fill with a uniform colour
Pattern - Fill with a pattern
Picture - Fill with a picture (bmp or jpeg)
Material - Fill with material picture from Board library
For Colour, Pattern, Picture, Material:-
Select
the list button to choose the item from a dialog
Colour - displays a standard Colour palette dialog to select from a range of basic colours - or use the Custom colour button to create new colours.
Patterns - dialog showing a choice of hashed patterns
Picture - dialog showing a choice of pictures from: Path for Library data. These are individual BMP or JPEG files.
Material - dialog showing material pictures from the Board library
@ $ - select the Variable or Lookup button to set the colour as a variable item.
