Options for configuring the drawing options
The setup options for the Drawing library and CAD Drawings operate in the same way. There are several choices for setting up how the drawing and screen appear.
File - Drawing Properties - Use this menu option to change the size of the drawing area and the scale and operation of the gird and other drawing aids such as the Guide box tool - for the current drawing
File - Default Properties - Use this menu option to change the size of the drawing area and the scale and operation of the gird and other drawing aids such as the Guide box tool - for all NEW drawings
Edit menu - use these options to set the drawing properties for objects on the drawing such as line colour and weight, font size etc.
View menu - use these options to set the screen appearance, toolbars, view hidden objects on drawing etc.
The grid and guide box tools are also available from the toolbar at the top of the screen. Use the following tools to setup the grid, snap options, rulers etc.
Notes
The drawing library is located in the directory set by the System parameter: Path for Library data. When the drawing library is run from the product library close the Drawing library before returning to the Product library. Similarly when the machining or drawing library is run from the part library close the machining or drawing library before making changes in the part library.
