Width of packing strips - Multi-axis saws

Saw parameter to set saw operaiton

Use this to specify the width of packing strips (waste strips).

The required packing strip width is always the same for a material. A packing strip width of 0.0 means 'do not cut packing strips'.

Also set the minimum packing strip length to ensure that the strips are long enough to be used.

A head portion is not reduced in this way if it would result in more than 10 head cuts in total. Other waste areas can be cut into as many strips as necessary.

Where the dimension of the waste in the direction of the cutting line is greater than this value the waste is divided into packing strips. If the waste is not large enough to be divided for packing strips the program follows the setting of the saw parameter for the size of the waste flap. If this is set the waste is divided into small strips that can fall into the waste trap.

Notes

- Can also be set as a material parameter at both board and material level
