Machining centre transfer parameter to set how back instructions are transferred to a machining centre
Check this option to create separate files for the front and back instructions.
Separate
file(s)
The files containing front instructions have a suffix of F and the files containing back instructions have a suffix of B.
For example, if the parameter is NOT checked:-
00001234.MPR
If the parameter is checked:-
0001234F.MPR
0001234B.MPR
Applies to Homag Woodwop V4->V8 (MPR/X), 2D DXF nested layered (DXF), Machining Program Interface (MPI), Morbidelli Aspan 3.2 (ASC) and Morbidelli Aspan 4.0 (ASC) transfer types.
Where the files are transferred to different directories a common name can be used. See below for details.
Nested Patterns
For nested patterns two sets of files are produced. One set of files is for front instructions - these define the nested pattern - and a second set of files is for the back and horizontal instructions for each part. Front instructions must be separate for nested patterns so this parameter is applied automatically in this case.
The file names for nested patterns are based on the run number and pattern number (e.g. for run 10023 then names are 1002301, 1002302 etc). File names for parts are as described above.
Information box
To put back instructions into a separate file the Information box: Transfer name - back must be set via the Information box parameters. That is a box is reserved for this information for each part in the part list.
Notes
- The file name/number is based on the Machining centre parameter: Last drawing number
