Description of a type of tension trim

This method applies a tension trim to each rip when cutting staggered strips. The method is to cut notches in the material adjacent to each rip.
- Material pushed forward to the notch position
- Saw blade makes a pass through part of the material creating two notches at each end of the material
- Material pulled back to the position for the first rip and rip taken
- Second rip removes trim containing notches
Use the parameters to set the width of the slot and the distance from the edge of the board for the slot.
