Review runs option to edit fittings summary
Fittings (hardware) are items such as screws, hinges and brackets which are entered as items in the part library (+material). At the Review runs screen:-
● Move to the run required (Review runs)
● Select: Edit - Fittings Editor
The screen displays the Fittings screen and the cursor is positioned at the Reference box and shows the fittings for that run.
Fittings are not used in the optimisation and are stored in a separate file on disk. The fittings list can act as a picking list or a bill of materials for a set of product requirements. The fields available for fittings are:-
Fitting code
Fittings - material
Fittings - description
Fitting - quantity
The material code starts with a plus (+).
Edit the fitting list as necessary, change or delete existing items or add new entries.
Click
on the List buttons to view the Fittings library and lists of Fitting
files.
Export - To export the fittings list to a file select: 'File - Export'. The name is the same as the reference and has the extension EX3, for example: OrderRX.EX3. The export file is located in the path set by the system parameter: Path for export data
Enter fittings - Fittings can be entered in the Part library in a similar way to parts.
Insert line (also Return on last row)

Stock updates - If the program is used to export part and product data and the Optimising modules are not used the program has to be set to update fittings. See the System parameters related to Stock control.
- Fittings are updated on selecting at the main menu (Stock - Issue stock - products)
