Customise material type column (Board library)
The column for Material type stores a number in the range 0 to 99. This can be used to categorise materials by type. For example, Chipboard, FibreBoard, Hardboard, Laminates etc. Each category in use should be associated with a number. It is best to keep the category names short and limited to a single word or phrase. At the board library screen:-
● Select: Edit - Material type
Program displays a small grid showing the existing categories if any
● Enter a new number and the category description in the next blank row
● Select OK to confirm changes

Notes
- It is best to leave number '0' for undefined items since this covers cases where the type field has been left blank. Once set-up the categories appear in the Pop-up box for the Material type column and can be used when entering materials.
- The grid of categories is stored as a small table in the Board library database.
